Our founder was having dinner in a bistro in New York City when she looked down and saw, beneath her risotto, the most wonderful table linens. They were thick but not stiff, in a beautiful color, and — because she found them in a restaurant — she immediately got the sense they could stand up to very Big Nights (and morning-after washes). 

We found the makers of these linens in Milan, Italy. Turns out, this mill has been making the best table linens for New York City's best restaurants for decades. And now, we can bring some of that restaurant magic home.
