A love letter to Bali, Bungkus Bagus is a Los Angeles pop-up founded by sisters Celene and Tara Carrara during the pandemic. Their Sambal Goreng, a mix of spicy fried chilis and garlic, makes any and every dish more delicious. It's made fresh by hand every week. It takes 50lbs of shallots, 5lbs of garlic, 6lbs of thai chilies, and 2 people 10 hours each to make 100 jars. In other words, it's precious.
